iConnect’s iVoice Solution provides clients spending between R7 500 and R50 000 per site per month on their current voice usage (excluding Vat and line rentals) with a high quality, low cost solution on all fixed line call types including on-net calls, interbranch calls, local calls, national calls, international calls and fixed-to-mobile (F2M) calls.

Simple Non-Invasive Solution
The iVoice Solution is a non-invasive solution, which doesn’t require any changes to current infrastructure. A dedicated ADSL line is required to plug into iConnect’s Router, which plugs into the PABX. The Router is pre-configured and upon arrival at the client site the solution can be up and running within 15 minutes. In addition, the solution provides our clients with redundant connectivity.

Carrier Grade Quality
The core network that we utilise is interconnected with all national telephone networks enabling us to provide carrier grade voice quality. Our voice solution eliminates all the quality problems associated with conventional LCR solutions such as voice delay, signal loss, dropped calls etc.

iConnect Router
Traditionally, this solution has only been available to corporates and multi-nationals with a large volume of calls. iConnect has developed a model whereby SME clients can enjoy similar savings with a small capital outlay i.e. the cost of the Router. The router can also be rented.

One Bill, One Point of Contact
iConnect prides itself on the ease with which our clients can obtain their monthly billing. We issue an electronic bill with a savings analysis for the month as well as the itemised bill, which can be downloaded and manipulated into any manner of reporting required by our clients. Our clients have one point of contact for all call types and are no longer required to have multiple voice vendors to obtain the most affordable, best quality voice solutions. iConnect can provide billing for multiple sites on one invoice, while still providing itemised billing per site or per region.

Excellent Monitoring and Support
iConnect makes use of sophisticated monitoring software to ensure that all clients on our network are consistently operating at the standard levels of call quality and guaranteed up time. Should any problems occur they will be immediately picked up by the software and we will be in a position to be one step ahead in terms of resolution. This is backed up with an efficient and user-friendly web application and call centre for the logging, management and resolution of any problems that our clients may be experiencing.

iVoice Solution Architecture

iConnect has a wholesale and co-location agreement with Electronic Communications Network (ECN) to utilise their core network for the provision of our iVoice Solution for SMEs. ECN operates a converged packet-based network that has been developed using a number of technologies including copper, fibre, cable, microwave and satellite. Access to ECN’s network is via ADSL or leased line. Our combined objective is to provide our clients with a next generation “one network many services approach” as opposed to legacy TDM “one network one service” design.
